Sbahle Mpisane’s car accident is now subject to a criminal investigation.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, socialite and fitness instructor/model, Sbahle Mpisane was involved in a horrific car crash that has left her seriously injured and fighting for her life in hospital.
This after her car veered off the road and into a pole leaving her trapped inside before emergency services arrived at the scene. Additional details have since emerged stating that the car burst into flames at some point after the accident and police are now investigating what may have caused the crash.
“The cause of the accident is unknown at this stage. A case of reckless and negligent driving has been opened in Durban Central police station. Circumstances around the incident are being investigated,” said Police spokeswoman Colonel Thembeka Mbele in an interview with Times Live.
Her family has all since rushed to Durban’s Netcare St Augustine’s Hospital to be by her side.
“We are all here at the hospital and things are very emotional for us‚ as you can imagine having a child in the intensive care unit. She is still in a critical condition right now,” said her father, Sbu Mpisane.
