SAMA29 List of Nominees

SAMA29 is finally here. This year’s edition which is tagged ‘Music Has It All’ will celebrate the beauty of the South African sounds and creative industry.

Today, the South African music Awards has presented to us the full list of nominees for their SAMA29. The 29th SAMA nominees were unveiled at the Soweto Theatre with live performance from Young Stunna.

This year’s edition of SAMA is quite remarkable as it shows a shift in SAMA’s selections. DJ Maphorisa and AKA bagged the most nominations, with seven each and was closely followed by Kabza De Small who has 6 nominations.

SAMA29 is brought to us by RISA with KZN EDTEA as lead partnership and SABC1, Department of Sports Arts & Culture, CAPASSO, SAMPRA, SAMRO, PRASA and Icebolethu Group as sponsors/partners.
