Malome Vector Has Reportedly Died In a Car Accident

Lesotho singer and vocalist, Malome Vector has reportedly died in a fatal car accident that also claimed the lives of two people.

The accident is said to have occurred on the N8 in the afternoon of July 24, 2024. According to multiple reports, Malome Vector was on his way to a radio interview, but his car collided with an oncoming vehicle, resulting in him sustaining fatal injuries.

The management of Malome Vector has yet to issue any statement regarding the accident. Two occupiers of the Malome Vector’s car, Puleng Phoofolo and Lizwi Wokuqala also lost their lives on the spot.

Malome Vector was formerly signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment. His departure from the giant label raised lots of dust in the SA entertainment industry.

Real name Bokang Moleli, Malome Vector survived by one daughter, Karabo. During his time on earth, he blessed the industry with soul healing melodies that went on to dominate several charts and playlists. His bangers includes ‘Nobody,’ ‘Dumelang’ featuring Blaq Diamond, ‘Mangoane’ with Ubuntu Band and others too numerous to mention.

Ambitiouz Entertainment sent out their tributes in a tweet that reads: ‘With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of a shining beacon, the Lion of Lesotho’s sun has set.Our deepest condolences go out to his loved ones and industry peers during this time of profound loss. Rest In Malome Vector 💔.’

Malome Vector’s family are yet to issue a statement as regards the demise of their son. But while we wait for an official response from the family, fans have taken over the social space to pour out their tributes.
