Cotton Fest to hold in Cape Town this December.
Riky Rick’s legacy continues as Cotton Fest will take place in Cape Town this December.
Following the successful return of the festival in April after the demise of the originator, the organizers of the fest announced another one which is to happen this year.
“SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Cape Town we are coming for you! The University of Cottonfest is going on tour and is set to take place on 10 December 2022 at Paarden Eiland Park, Transvaal Street, Paarden Eiland.”
“Our University Campus experience includes 2 stages featuring some of South Africa’s best artists, Merch, sports area and more,” they wrote on the official Instagram account.
Riky Rick had a huge passion for the youth, society and upcoming artist; his wife understands his passion and she’s intentional on keeping it alive.
“One of Riky’s greatest passions was the youth, the kids, and the upcoming generation. He selflessly dedicated a lot of his time, his energy and his focus to helping develop and mentor youth,” she said.
