Well, technically, The Meister has not invented a new technique, but the way he fuses “slow fading” and “cut and chop” mixing techniques is unprecedented. With the exception of one track, all tracks are somewhat “cut and chopped” which ensures an unmistaken and immediate impact of the new song. In terms of song selection Session 20 is simply a collection of baseline-driven deep house tracks from Buddynice (Reflections EP), Black Cue DJ (Deep In The Ghetto Ext. 2 EP) and Ed-Ward (Evolution EP). With this mix The Meister asks the question: “Which of the three renowned deep house producers has the best baseline?” We will let you be the judge once you have listened to the mix.
