Thabo Bester Taken To C-Max Division of Kgosi Mampuru ll Correctional Centre In Pretoria.

Thabo Bester arrived South Africa in the early hours of Thursday morning alongside his crime partner, Dr Nandipha. They landed at the Lanseria Airport where they were taken into separate custody.

With the gravity of Thabo Bester’s crime, he was taken straight into the C-Max Division of the Kgosi Mampuru ll Correctional Centre in Pretoria while Dr Nandipha Magudumana was taken to a police station in Bloemfontein where she will make her first court appearance on charges of murder & fraud.

Formerly known as Pretoria Central Prison, Kgosi Mampuru II Correctional Services is one of the most secured correctional facility in South Africa. The prison complex comprises of six correctional centres, including the notorious C Max, Pretoria Local Prison, and a women’s prison.

C-Max is the maximum security division of the Kgosi Mampuru II Correctional Services. The division is specifically designed for violent and disruptive prisoners who have been classified as dangerous in terms of the South African Criminal Procedure Act. Thabo Bester will be kept in the solitary confinement pending his court hearing.
