2022 Basadi in Music Awards Winners List

Women have always played an important role in music, through the sharing of their story, the climbing of charts and the breaking of records. Through years, they have kept our feet tapping to the beats and today these beautiful souls are been celebrated via the Basadi in Music Awards.

The Award show was held over the weekend at the Gallagher Estate Convention Centre in Johannesburg with Nomuzi Mabena and Anele Zondo been the host. Women across all genres were celebrated including our celebrated traditional band Basetsana Ba Setso.

Makhadzi bagged the artist of the year Awards while Boohle was crowned the SAMPRA artists of the year. Dj Holworthy was the biggest winner after she walked away with two Awards in the category of the DJ of the Year and Music TV Presenter of the Year.
